KLASS ACT - BIO

  • Klass Act is hip hop trio hailing from the East Coast with roots in Chicago, Brooklyn and Delaware. Members include Chad Williams a/k/a Ceadda, Latoya Brown  a/k/a Lady P and producer  Brandon Reed a/k/a B. Reed.  The group originated while the three attended high school together and has been going strong ever since, consistently showing improvement with each passing year. They started out playing local area and high school talent shows and have since moved on to rock stages in Philladelphia, New York, Maryland and New Jersey. They have been featured in Delaware news outlets, newspapers, websites and television. They uniquely blend smooth melodic R&B with an upbeat hip hop sound that could make any late 80’s or early 90’s hip hop head nostalgic, while also being able to appeal to a pop audience. Having such a plethora of sounds to be able to call on at any time would make the average group seem too wide spread and inconsistent. However, Klass Act always manages to utilize their diverse sounds and has transformed that into a huge strength. Their timing could not have been better than when they recorded their most highly regarded record “Condo” which caught the ears of Grind Season/E1 Music (Koch records) management, which landed them their first recording contract. They released the bouncy club driven single “Throw It Back” featuring label mate Baby Boi Nate which is guaranteed to fill up dance floors everywhere.

  • Latoya Brown a.k.a Lady P was born and raised in Brooklyn N.Y.  She was moved out of the inner city at the age of fourteen to live with her Grandmother in Maryland and then to Delaware.  Lady P knew she wanted to be an entertainer from a young age. Having this in mind she knew she had to put herself in the right places at the right time to be noticed. So with the help of her aunt as manager she began performing in local talent shows, music showcases, and even the Apollo Theater. Being so serious about her career her peers began to take notice and introduced her to the other members of Klass Act who were also creating a local buzz.

  • Growing up wasn’t easy for rapper Chad Williams better known as Ceadda, but he always faced his obstacles head on and knew how to get over anything that sat in his path. Born on the West side of Chicago, ten of eleven kids; Ceadda soon added to the growing rates of a single parent household when his mother and father went their separate ways. Chicago’s harsh streets, drugs and violence didn’t attract Ceadda as a growing youth, but actually kept him determined and motivated to make it out and do something better with his life. He knew in order to make it he would need his education, put all of his talents to use, set a lead way and put his foot out and follow any God given path. Following his older brothers he began to write rhymes on a daily bases constructing and perfecting his flow. Moving state to state with his mother from Illinois, Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Maryland, and finally landing in Delaware has crafted Ceadda’s style giving him a unique rap structure ranging from Midwest, Southern, and East coast styles combined.

  • Brandon Reed was born in Newark Delaware and has lived in New Castle County Delaware all of his life. Before getting involved with music, his life was dedicated to school and sports. He has always been making instrumentals in his free time. Before developing his production talents, he only knew that he had a passion for music and that he wanted to be involved with it in some way. Joining Klass Act allowed him an opportunity to showcase his production skills and also develop his other musical talents.

  • Klass Act is currently logging heavy hours in the studio working on their debut album and  preview projects such as Ceadda’s “Farewell Tomorrow” which is his first mixtape under the label and Lady P’s mixtape entitled “Pretty Gangsta’s”. There are big things in store in the near future for this group and they look to seize the attention of underground, mainstream hip hop and pop audiences alike.    Get ready to witness a show like no other.
